Our coating metrology stations record the precision coordinates for coating attributes of interest, enabling us to maximize throughput for specialty performance while controlling cost.
Laser Marking is used in a number of ways (sshhh, we have a few secrets up our sleeves) beyond traditional part identification/serialization.
For volume applications, Automated Edge Blackening significantly reduces touch-time, improves part-to-part consistency, and stray light performance.
We are capable of performing lithographic patterning on a macro-scale (wafers) as well as micro-scale (fiber tips).
For high volume cutting and packaging, our dicing equipment is used for precision edge control and consistency.
Our in-house holographic grading recording labs allow for custom master grating production. Optical replication is used to economically transfer optical quality surfaces onto materials or components that are complex, or not suitable for direct fabrication. Nearly all non-porous materials are capable of being replicated onto.

Omega coating heritage dates back to 1936, and spans a wide range of technologies: Sunglasses to space-borne sun-visors; halogen light bulbs to COVID-fighting UV-C lamps, supermarket scanners to modern printers, astronomical mirrors to prestigious art installations to entertainment optics: if an application requires a precision or decorative coatings we surely have a proven solution.
Grating Manufacturing
We have the diffractive optics trifecta of multiple Ruling Engines, Holographic Mastering, and Lithographic exposure to create diffractive elements. Our in-house design and manufacturing processes provide standard or custom gratings for a range of applications, in both Original and Replicated formats.
Metrology & Quality Assurance
We believe you cannot confidently make what you cannot measure, and therefore have invested in standard and custom metrology and inspection stations. Certified ISO 9001:2015. Lean manufacturing, including 6 Sigma methodologies and approaches to problem solving.
