Sodium Chloride (NaCl), XP-Halide coated rectangles provide a good protection for fogging. This coating is recommended for use in high humidity environments or where proper storage facilities are not available. The XP-Halide coating is relatively free of IR absorption features; however, care must be exercised in IR measurements.
